Well, I have an appointment for my first tattoo today (birthday present to myself). It's going to a cross on my forearm.

Yeah, I will, once the scabbing and all that goes away I guess. I used to be very mucn into piercings, I think the most I had at one time was 8. But I was never able to get a tattoo, because I was under 18, so I'm pretty excited about it. I've been looking forward to getting a tattoo since I was like 12, lol. I kinda sucked though, my appointment was supposed to be on my birthday yesterday, but the tattoo artist had something he had to do last night, so I had to wait until today. But hey, only 8 more hours until my appointment!

Don't worry about how it will look right after. Actually it looks the best right after being inked. They'll put the gauze on it for you to keep it covered for the first two hours, but after that you need to keep it treated and exposed to the air so it can heal properly. It takes a couple days before it truely scabs up and get ugly.

I'm only a couple days over a week myself, and the scabs were there about 5 days after and now they are finally almost gone. Still the tattoo looked the best for about the first 2 or 3 days.

So bring on the pictures!
