Skipping gears?

#1 Unread post by CNF2002 »

Blast has been skipping gears a bit lately. Its slowly becoming more of a problem. When shifting it will act like its in between gears and I have to give it a firm up or downshift to bring it back into a gear. Otherwise it just kind of grinds there in the middle.

Any thoughts to what might be causing this?

It has had regular transmission fluid changes according to the recommended intervals.

I recently did switch from mobil 1 to harley brand synthetic fluid at 7,500, no real difference at 10,000 except maybe getting worse

Shifting like I mean it may be a factor here. I tend to baby the thing. Perhaps I am getting lazy with my foot.
