not to be a n00b but whats a lowside? I know what a high side is, when you lose traction in the back wheel then suddenly getting traction again making you go out of control...
Same thing for a low side? lose traction in front wheel then gain it again?
Low-sided TWICE in ONE day...arggg!

There are essentially two ways to come off of a bike.
The first is a highside. The bike flicks and pitches you off, usually in the direction of travel or to the outside of the turn.
The second is to lowside. Typically the bike has lost traction and slides away from under you leaving you sprawled on the deck and sliding yourself. Lowsides typically have the rider down on the inside of the turn.

Back in the early 80s, I managed to hit the back end of an old Cadillac and flipped right over the handlebars (and the Cadillac). Was that a low side or high side? Just wonderingKal wrote:There are essentially two ways to come off of a bike.

I would propose that two more ways be added. Front side and back side.
