Kinda funny though, as my dealer's driveway slopes down from the road, which is a very busy highway, (Rt 17 for you NJ/NY folks) so getting out on the hill without rolling back or tipping, into highway traffic, no shoulder on the road with my wife and kids in the cage behind me was a nightmare for a rookie like me.

After I got rolling, I was cool and just didn't want to stop. Darn "responsabilities" like a job and such spoiling an otherwise nice ride.
Riding home from work in the dark was a new experience, too. I think it's harder to judge the distance of a pair of lights in the darkness, then the distance of a cage in broad daylight.
Time to get some cones and hit my kid's school's parking lot.
