Hey...if a TV show can make money by daring people to eat worm pies, there's bound to be an audience that wants to look at my bike parked in my living room. :laughing:

You're probably right. It's interesting, "I Love Lucy" the very first "Sitcom" was put on TV to sell cigarettes. TV networks will be largely run by executives with marketing degrees in the near future. To be on the creative side of things is tough. That's why they call it show "Business."

Great bit of trivia! I never thought about it until now, but thinking back, I Love Lucy always had them smoking, and so many of their gags were cigarette related.

Now I have to go find some DVDs and watch a few old episodes :wink:

And I hope you didn't think I was being harsh. Come to think of it, anyone rich enough to have a specialized guy motorcycle room probably isn't worried about making money anyway. Like those couples on amazing homes...you know they are so rich they have nothing else to do all day but show a TV crew around at all the rooms they never use. :lol:

No worries, I didn't think you were being harsh. I'm glad you didn't think I was either.

Yeah, every type of TV show is structured in acts. Each act is broken by a commercial break. The acts are structured dramatically to leave the viewer on some kind of cliff hangar so you'll watch the commercials, and stay around for the "next act." News, documentary TV, reality TV, sitcoms, drama, they all do the same thing.

I call tv shows "giant flashy billboards." But I can't be mad because it's always been that way. The good news is that unlike the movie bizz, TV is still produced by writers. So there is some caring for the creative integrity of a show.

Sorry, that's my rant and I could go on and on. But our show doesn't suck!

And actually, most people do our show because they've got something that they take pride in and want to show it off. And we're really laid back, and make the shoot fun and painless:)
