Ewan McGregor Plans Third Motorcycle Trek
Hollywood adventurer Ewan McGregor is already planning his third and final televised motorcycle trip documentary - months before he sets off on his second. The Scottish actor and pal Charley Boorman filmed their biking exploits from London to New York, via Mongolia, Siberia and Alaska, for 2004 series "Long Way Round" - and now they're planning a second trip from the top of Scotland to the tip of Cape Town, South Africa, next year.
But as the intrepid pals plan to hit the road again for "Long Way Down," they hope to conclude their travels in the Americas with "Long Way Up" - a bike journey that will take McGregor and Boorman from the southern-most tip of South America up into the United States.
Ewan McGregor - The Long Way Down
Awesome. I really liked that series. I break it out to laugh at the mongolia swamp segment pretty regularly.
Wonder if they'll stick with the BMW's again. Perhaps theyll take a ride past KTM's headquarters to flip em off. I still can't believe they turned em down like that. What a huge hunk of negative publicity for KTM.
