Can a VT1100 engine be placed on a VT750 Bike without too much trouble?

Yeah I hear you. One of the guys at work got back into riding a few months ago and bought a used Shadow 750 and he's talking about getting the Sabre 1100 already.
The weight isn't that much more actually and the ergonomics are pretty much the same.

No I understand completely. He said the same thing actually. Around town it's great, but he commutes down I66 and feels that the bike doesn't have enough power at highway speeds.
The only Vtwin I've ridden is the Rebel 250 and not on the highway. My V4 has no problems running at 80+ miles so commuting on I95/HOV isn't an issue for me.
See if you can find yourself a 3rd gen Magna and try out the V4. It'll easy blow away the 750 AND 1100.
Anyways, I'm going out and enjoy this 70*F day
