Americade '07?

#1 Unread post by BlueBomber »

Anybody already planning on attending Americade '07? I live only a few (okay...several) hours away. I might attend for a few days. I've been told it's a blast.

If i know others that are attending it will be a lot more fun, especially if we can get a small group ride going in that direction.

And that's going north on 91 and taking rt 9 west... amazing road, one of my favorites. There's also rt 2 to help get there instead...

Would my wanna be sport touring semi-sports bike be allowed to go? This seems kinda fun, even if just for the ride

Grompers, where in CT are you? Would you want to meet up somewhere if it works out that i can go? In ny or even Up on my stretch of I91 if you want to try out some of the Western MA/southern VT roads.

It's an all bikes all bikers type of event. They have group rides and tour and events and all kinds of stuff going on up there.

Have always had a good time at Americade. The Whiteface Mountain tour is a good one. The Million Dollar beach (bike accessory market place) is something to explore. Have left plenty of greenbacks there... :)

I will be there June 6th & 7th. Room is about 9 miles out of town though.
I have never been, so looking forward to it.

This was the first time I ever went. Actually, I had never heard of it until Saturday morning and I went that afternoon (I live about an hour away) It was a blast.

Then, I went again on Sunday afternoon and it was totally dead. A few bikes left but nothing even close to the action of Saturday afternoon. I thought it would at least go through the entire weekend.

When is (was) it supposed to officially end?

I'm new to motorcycles, actually I don't do my basic riders course until this coming June 22nd. I'm really stoked to go to the Americade next year by bike.
