When I started riding, there were no coarses to take. I started on small bikes and road in the dirt.

If had taken a coarse I would not have had to learn the hard way....many twisted and sprained limbs as well as a generous dose of road rash.

I assume you are reasonably mature given your age, so if whatever bike feels good..ride it. You know your thresehold....DON'T exceed it and you'll be fine while your skills improve.

Oh it's so good!/bad!/ugly! At least it's not Japanese/American/Italian. Some might like it but I think it's slow/cramped/not for beginners, but I really like that it's got style/weighs under 300kg/has optional white turn indicators.

Ever since they changed the engine from a V-twin/inline 4/ triple, they've had real problems with ignition/gremlins/healthy sales.

I would/would not/don't know depending on your skill level suggest you get one.

Does that help? Or have you already bought one? Me, I like bikes.
