Wild Hogs- Great movie
So we had an early screening of wild hogs at Tysons corner mall's AMC.
It was hilarious. Some good John Travolta, the good sides of martine lawrince and tim allen.
Even addresses who's a poser, what ridings all about and how it's all about having fun with your bike and your friends.
Laughed so hard.

I was a tad disappointed in John Travolta's acting. Seemed "forced" somehow. Like he was trying too hard to be funny. He was much better in Michael and Broken Arrow.
The first shot of Tim Allen riding looks like he was scared to death. But maybe it was that teo-tone helmet.
I enjoyed the move. It was fun. It was as deep as you wanted to look.
It did make me realize too many people are caught up in their own judgement of others. I think people who call others posers are the pretty unsecure in their own self image.
My first 5,000 miles on a bike were all alone. Now I've become part of "group" and really miss the solo riding even though I like our mission. I need some balance, so I am going to try a solo trip this year.
Can't wait until the DVD comes out.

I gotta see this movie......
On one subject......I keep wondering, who's a "Poseur" (or Poser) and who's not? as if there was some sharp line that defined who is and who isn't.
If you ever considered, for one moment, if you looked sharp in your new leather or mesh jacket, or boots, etc., and if you ever showed up to some party on your bike and you knew that you were lookin good in that jacket, or did'nt mind the positive looks from others, then you my friend are a Poseur. I like riding, and don;t think I'm overly focused on appearance, but if a Poseur meets the above definition, then I must be one too.

A poseur is anyone who looks cooler than me, has a cooler bike than me, or happens to be standing in front of their bike in front of a coffee shop.... They obviously are not the real deal "like I am"

Short review of Ghost Rider.Locopez wrote:my wife and I were planning on seeing that movie Saturday and the seeing the Ghost Rider movie....all MC movie day.......
Anyone have a review for Ghost RIder??????
If you want to see lots of riding you will be disappointed.
If you like special effects you will like it.
If you go for realism, you will be let down, but if you can enjoy it purely for entertainment value, you will probably have a bunch of laughs and enjoy the movie.

go see it. theres not much riding but its still a pretty cool movie if you ride. i saw it with my cali friends and they all thought it was the phoniest crap they have ever seen.
ive seen much phonier. like the newest version of pearl harbor that is a complete love story rather than a war story.
