I'm currently reading
Pattern on the Stone by Hillis. I figured it would be good to brush up on some computer science basics, but 3/4 of the way through I've found I haven't forgotten anything the book has covered so far. Hooray for my education, I guess.
I recently finished
The Knight and
The Wizard, both by Wolfe (two part series). The first book,
Knight, was excellent reading. The second book wasn't bad, but it just wasn't up to snuff in comparison.
Next up for me is probably
Buddhism for Beginners by Chodron. I have been neglecting any kind of spiritual reading for a long time, so I'll start somewhere.
