Shorts- I read your post on the other site and also your follow-up post. What a slap in the face. I don't shoot, but have other hobbies that are equipment-intensive, I can imagine how I'd feel if my stuff was ripped off. Especially stuff I'd had for a long time, was totally comfortable with, etc. That just sucks. Some people are below scum.

sorry about that, :( you should check ebay, craigslist, etc. to see if they are being sold, if so, then you can say you want to buy it and get their address/send the cops.

Shorts, I'm sorry your visit home was marred by such a crappy incident. I feel for ya.

I sure hope the rest of the visit went well.

Wow Shorts - when things happen with you guys, they sure happen in a big way. Did you figure the problem with your cards yet or you haven't quite gotten to that point. Whew! At least you guys did some pretty fast thinking and footwork to get you "home".

YEESH! Glad you're home safe and sound, but sorry it turned out to be such an adventure! Good luck getting the credit cards back up and running, it sounds like the system they were running it through was somehow corrupted... Anyway, glad you're back home and all!

You sure seem to have a knack for an exciting and busy time. Sorry for the burglary loss. It stinks and there's not a heck of a lot you can do about it. :(

Ouch, just ouch when it comes to the firearms. I don't know how I would take it if they ripped off mine, seeing as I inherited most of them from my father and that makes them very dear to me. Not to mention unreplaceable.

A similar thing happened to me with my ATM card about a year ago. It worked at some banks but not at others, you know what it was? Seems the strip got partially de-magnetized and only newer ATMs could read it. But they sent me a new card pronto, so I was happy.
I'm starting a petition to cull narrowminded dull people - be afraid Peter, be very afraid....
