One of those days.

#1 Unread post by roscowgo »

It's been one of those days. Weeks. Months really.

Everything at work is hectic to the power of 45. Daylight savings time patches...... yay! if a machine is off more than 5 minutes it wont authenticate!
The paperless medical records system halfway crapped its pants.
3 hard drives crashed to the point of being unrecoverable.

It's a fight every few minutes at home.
I just stubbed my toe.
And i think i got a bad piece of sushi for dinner.

And now... now...... :frusty: :frusty: :frusty: Suddenlink the wondertards...... picked this evening. The one evening i chose to do the gaming/relax/blow off some steam on the internet night....... to hose my entire towns connection.

:frusty: :frusty: :frusty: :frusty: :frusty: :frusty: :frusty:
/sigh.
I'm starting to develop another nervous tic.

normal life my friend. give it a few, and really think about life from the broader prospective so you can really appreciate your place on earth, and perhaps go streaking around your house and if you feel daring, go streaking outside.

I think you need to go see a movie. Mindless entertainment for a couple of hours works wonders.

We need challenging times so that we can better appreciate the good times. Just go with the flow - it's all temporary. My entire month of February was a drag. I knew it was comin' - I had a lot of planned things to get out of the way, but then other dodo kept coming up to mess with me. It's over now though... Spring is on the way... life is good.

The streaking might help.

Cheers,
Loonette

I tried the streaking thing. The gf tried to struck me with a pillow :(

I tend to laugh and chuckle when something goes wrong. Helps keep me right in the head.... yesterday was a giggle fest.

I've been around most of my users long enough for them to know that a jolly rosco=bad bad day. :D

Hang in there, man. Don't think I ever told ya, but yer "Taterheads, Smacktards, and Ijits" thread last May was hilarious. You get to take some indirect credit for the fact my puppy's nickname is now "Smacktard".

sorry to hear about your toe.
I'm starting a petition to cull narrowminded dull people - be afraid Peter, be very afraid....
