New bike
Thanks all
I'm quite sure we will be putting more than just a few miles on there.
Parts are coming in either tomorrow or thursday for the kat repair. I may just go ahead and yank all the plastic except the screen off of the kat. I expect it may become just a touch of a ratbike. I somehow wouldnt trust it for long distance stuff... But it is fun. capable, fairly cheap etc.... and will give me something to ride once jennifer decides that buelah is all hers and im not allowed to ride.
Did find something rather alarming this morning. I've had Buelah tied to what i thought was a secure thing. (Heat Exchanger out back of the apartment) Gave the cable a halfway decent pull.... the foot that i thought was a cement post....popped out.
So off i go pushing this rather large unweildy sucker across wet grass onto the other sidewalk. Parked it beside my car, in between two just right sized metal posts and tried to chain it to a power pole. Nope...... not long enough. have i mentioned this pole is up a hill? so i back it back out, turn this devilishely heavy contraption around and proceed to back it up to the pole.....Great! now it reaches. Of course by this point i'm covered in sweat, rain, a little mud, and late for work. Also the neighbors i didnt want to wake up by starting this loud piped grin elicting devil spawn are standing in their doorways laughing at me by now.
I love that bike heh.
