I am sure you can get lots of opinions and advice on a bike here on the forums!

I am learning on my boyfriends Ninja 250. I fit well on it, and it is fairly easy to handle. I will move on to mine this weekend - hopefully! He wanted me to learn on his, in case I drop it  !

First things first, Welcome to the forums.

Second thing, I'm sure you'll find a bike that's right for you and your wallet
I'm starting a petition to cull narrowminded dull people - be afraid Peter, be very afraid....

Well, look for one of our members located in your area and I'm sure someone would love to be a part of the shopping experience. We've got over 60 people with their listed location as Florida, (That's just with a quick search of the members.) and I'm sure there's a whole lot more than those. So, if you asked for a bit of help... 8)

I get excited everytime I go to a bike shop, and I'm not even looking for a new bike right now...

Welcome.
Perhaps you should take the MSF course first....
Then you will have a point of reference.
And probably a large grin when you complete the course :D

I tried to go through the threads listed under my state, but couldn't find any recent posts. I will check through them again in case I missed some.

Thanks a bunch! :)
