The bike is a 95 CB1000 carburated w/ 20k.
I get a high frequency vibration at 4000 and 7000 RPM, more noticeable at 7000 (9000 red line). It doesn't matter what gear I'm in or the speed. It will do it on the centerstand and while riding. Cluch engagement/disengagement dosen't seem to matter either. Checked for obvious loose hardware on engine and exhaust.
The bike is new to me, I don't know how long it has been doing this or if its normal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Yeah, it's my understanding that most bikes have an RPM range where the vibration is more noticeable than any other range. As long as it isn't a dangerous, the-bike-is-falling-apart sensation, it should be OK. I've heard synching the carbs can have a huge impact in reducing vibration.Sev wrote:Engines vibrate.
