Drilling through a fender

#1 Unread post by jonnythan »

If I drill a hole in my fender, do I need to do anything to seal the bare metal I've exposed in order to prevent the hole from rusting out?

That would be a good idea.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

A little clear coat around the hole should be enough. I've seen people use clear nail polish as well.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
