Oh, I sat on a DL650 and 1000 the other day, you're right guys, they're really incredible in their seating positions. Oh, and I noticed that Mike changed his avatar, did he decide on the DLs??? Sorry if I didn't notice, I was gone for a few days up to the gf's place

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Always wear a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Holy wow, what is that?

Oh, and the VFR is fun! I was pretty surprised how well balanced it was - I could just sit there and lift my feet up (not on the pegs) at a standstill for quite a few seconds before starting to tilt slightly either way. That was pretty cool. :)

I would say to try that on the 650R, but now that you have that boat ballast off (they call it an exhaust canister at Kawasaki) the COG is going to be a tad higher

Sometime next week is lookin like bike on the road day.

That thing is a freakin anchor! I couldn't believe how heavy that damn thing was..probably almost 20 lbs. I loves the new one though.

I checked out the blogs again today. I'm jealous of the new pipe Nalian. I got outbid on ebay for a Muzzy - stupid timezones!

Those stock mufflers are heavy. I think on my bike it's around 16lbs - geez, no wonder it's so easy leaning to the right

Ma, I need to go to bed already :nitenite:

When my finances get better I'm looking to get the V-Strom 650 ABS with hard bags... maybe the top box... and put a K&N air filter in it and some Michelin Anakees for all-weather goodness. Too bad it'll quite expensive from stock.

Now if I can afford the Honda ST1300 that's a whole other story *clutches lotto ticket*

I must get rid of my Vulcan 500... 7 years old and it's in need of parts replacement... plus it feels like a chinese take-out scooter compared to other bikes.
