BMW G 650 x Country

#1 Unread post by Flipper »

I have bike lust again.
Why can't I just be happy with what I have?

The BMW G 650 Xcountry has really caught my eye.
It looks like a great little run around town bike. I love the styling
and the off road or curb hopping abilities.

Anyone here ever seen one up close or ridden one?
They seem kind of pricey. MSRP $8,200.00 But most BMW's are.

Please tell me somethig bad about it so I can just get over it already.

jstark47,

Please encourage me further in this direction.
Here is another picture of my new obsession.

Is it my imagination, or does the rider seem very very happy and fulfilled?

I could live with that. :D
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

I have always had kind of a secret crush on the Buell Blast, so the thumper thing is not off putting.

Also, I live in So Cal, so the snob thing would fly under the radar out here.

Alright, since you asked...
1. You can't afford it (I don't care if you make a million a year, it's still too expensive for you... )
2. It's a basic dual-sport for supersport price.
3. No, he does not look happy and fulfilled, he looks like "Let's get this stupid shoot over with so that I can go back to my nice, comfortable, fast CB600F...

Hope that works!
Oh, and the hypermotard, don't even start me on that! (Mostly because I have nothing bad to say about it :P )
