I did that last friday night overnight by accident (it was in my garage) and I was flipped out the next day. My things I learned.
1. Just because the riding position looks like it'd be comfortable doesn't mean it will be.
2. The reverse of #1.
3. Even though it seems unnatural to look so far ahead in the corners, somehow I'll still manage to see where I currently am in my peripherals.
4. No one will hear you when you scream in your helmet, but somehow everyone hears you when you're singing into your helmet at a stoplight.

Uh... well I guess we learn something new everyday. Good thing I usually ignore people next to me when I'm looking around at a stop light... 2. I know that smell now,......forgot to close the choke again.
3. High rpm's will not make the engine explode underneath me.
4. Check signal off, check signal off, check signal off, repeat.
5. Wave.
6. There are a million gallons of oil on the streets of Los Angeles.
7. If in doubt, slow down.
8. Slow down anyway.
9. You can't blow your nose in a full face helmet.
10. Check air pressure, check air pressure, check air pressure, repeat.

3. Strange noises when driving past a close building, is only sound reflecting, my chain isn't knackered
4. Never trust a pheasant's will to survive
5. Don't ride long distance in jeans without checking the weather forecast
6. Maintainence maintainence maintainence
7. Afterwards, if the bike won't start after 20 mins of trying, turn the kill switch on
8. On slippery grass ride slow, and have your feet ready to catch the drop before it happens.
9. Theres a surprising amount of traction on wet roads
10 The inverse is true for man hole covers in the wet
