Electrical Problem

#1 Unread post by Aquaduct »

I'm spending a week in Detroit on business starting tomorrow, so I was putting my 1999 Triumph Trophy 1200 in the shed (don't have a garage) for safe keeping. I was driving it gently along the back yard grass but I kind of have to goose it to get it up over the from lip of the shed. When I tried I stalled the engine. When I hit the starter button again, everything went dead. And I mean dead. No lights, no guages, no hum, no clicks, nothing. Although one quirk is that the analog electric clock is still keeping time (hmmmm.....).

Some background. I rode it home from work Thursday and left it on the street. It started raining Thursday night and the bike sat in the rain Friday. Before I put the bike away tonight, I ran up to the gas station and the bank. Bike ran fine and stopped and restarted at 2 different gas stations (problems reading the credit card at the pump).

So, any good ideas to ponder while I'm traveling?
