Hey all :D

#1 Unread post by AmericanWeiner »

I've been browsing topics all day and finally decided to join. I have no riding experience at all (short of a kid-sized minibike I had when I was little). I'm 18, and I'm hoping to take the MSF courses soon. If I enjoy it, I'm going to sell my '68 GTO (I hate that I have to, but it's just rotting away, and I don't have the knowhow to fix it) and get a small cruiser to start the long road to being a rider.

Awesome! Welcome aboard. :D

It's a terrible thing to see a loved piece of metal go. ;) But, with any luck, you'll sell it to someone in the area who will take proper care of it, and you'll be able to see her all polished and shined up someday.

There's lots of good readin' here, dig around a bit and feel free to ask if you can't find something.

Well, I guess if you have to give up the GTO, a bike is an acceptable replacement.

Sorry to hear you have to say goodbye to a car like that, but you'll be too busy riding to notice.
