I looked for CX500 and it doesn't really look too much like the ones listed here - how did you make this determination?

Looks like an old 2 cyl. CB series. I'll browse some more pics and see what we can find.

From what I can see it looks like a Night Hawk. I can't seem to find any other pics than this 1982 Night Hawk 450. The rims, seat, front of engine seem to match. Yours of course is older.

EDIT: Boy was I wrong on this one  . I found the right bike below. :D

Did you look here?

http://www.100megsfree4.com/honda/

they have a couple hundred pics of hondas on there - check it out, you might be able to narrow it down anyway.

The site I listed says the cx500 was made in 78-79 and then they started with the cx500C in 1980, the 'c' being for custom... For whatever that is worth. They also list the year to year changes in various models so you might be able to nail it down definitively there.

If that blue paint color is original I think it has to be a 1979 CX500C. If you can find a serial number on there somewhere you can nail it down for sure. I can't see any pinstripes on the tank though and I think it should have some so who knows? I assume you don't have either side cover?
