Here is a helmet I really liked, but unfortunately, it did not fit.

Image

It's by KBC. My black helmet is KBC but the heart one is different model and has a different shape. It would look good with my red jacket and blue bike and it's quite girly.
I am back to looking for another helmet now because my new one with the graphics sustained a crack in my fall. And of course it is a discontinued model.

You seem to be having that issue lately eh? The direct link is http://www.rathergood.com/giantbee/ - or did the page itself not load?

That is a really cute helmet!

I dont like bees anymore :P. My first real ride out around town and in traffic, I got stung by a huge hornet!! I rode about a block with the damn thing stuck in my hand, till it was safe to pull over. It sucked big time!!! Good thing Im not allergic...that would be a nightmare. Oh and good thing it wasnt my bf that got stung - he is TERRIFIED of bees LOL! Ehhhh tough guy ;)!

I was out riding with my friend Doc one day when he got some stings. Now, me....I always wear a jacket.....

He, however, was wearing a short sleeve shirt and a bee or wasp flew into the opening of his sleeve and stung him a few times.

It wasn't funny at the time....he always wears a jacket now.

I admit to being an anime fan, and have some manga titles I follow too,
but I follow things like 'ghost in the shell'.....but 'hello kitty'? I just don't get it :frusty:
What I don't get is why some of the guys on this site insist on coming into the "Ladies' Lounge" to intrude in a thread that is about girlie helmets (and Hello Kitty would be considered girlie as well). :frusty:

The Ladies' Lounge was created for a reason. If guys want to add positive input here, then go for it. Otherwise... MIND YOUR OWN & MOVE ON!

Why isn't it a members only forum like the other usergroups?

I'm not sure - we'd have to ask Mike about that. I guess it might be hard to prove gender, but how do people in the "Kawasaki" forums prove that they own a Kawasaki?

Also, it's not a bad thing when a guy will chime in with helpful, friendly advice or maybe even relate a story that his wife/girlfriend/mom/whatever experienced. It's supposed to be understood by the general members that this is a place for the ladies to come to vent, discuss, share, etc... However, not even the forum introduction sticky has any hard rules of conduct listed. I'll send a PM to Mike and ask if he feels this should be a members-only forum. I suppose if the gals here wanted the input of the boys on a given topic, we could pose our questions in the general forums.

Also, I'll start a thread here to get the general consensus from our lady members/moderators.

Cheers,
Loonette
