Anyone know the power numbers? The meanstreak is sure a looker, but the power of the concours would win me over. Already I know it has 20ft/lbs more torque.

No competition, literally. They are such different markets. Intercontinental touring bike vs. super sporty cruiser. Both are cool in their own way. I'm looking to put on the miles and fast, so the C14 seems to be a good fit. FJR is still in my possible view though.

I don't know about that Concours anymore. I sure am happy with my "old" ZX-6E as my sport tourer. I recently got back from a 2300 mile five-day trip, and was amazed how suited my motorcycle is for multiple 450+ mile days. My only complaint is having to lube the chain.
I started thinking about upgrading and realized that I've never wished the 600cc engine had more power, and I really appreciate getting 50-60 miles per gallon. Not to mention that the tires lasted over 12,000 miles, which certainly isn't possible on a larger heavier bike. I'll probably keep this bike for ten years.
By the way, why did those posts get changed to say "popcorn"? Is the prawn word not allowed?
