Hey,
I've been stuck as an unoffical organiser so here goes. I'm thinking right now that the best thing to do is to find a "neutral place to meet," and go from there. I'm thinking we should all meet up at the UofA on Tuesday the 30th around 5:30/5:45. I think the ideal place to meet would be the little parking lot on the left of 114th street, just off 87th ave. When you pull in you can see the admin building right ahead. Drive North towards it and there will be a small parking lot on your left.
If anyone needs help getting there let me know and I can get better directions.
I'm also planning on posting this in the get togethers section of TMW, hopefully we can get a couple more people to show up.
At this point I'm thinking, "quick ride, then food afterwards," sounds like the most fun, but we'll see what happens.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

We did that for much of last season. A weekly lunch ended up being rather expensive, but we still attended.adrielmichaud wrote:Why don't you organize a weekly thing? Makes it easier to remember.
Something like:
1:00pm Sunday at Denny's for a 1 hr lunch and bike talk, followed by a group ride. Gives people the choice of showing up for some grub or just getting in for the ride by showing up at 2:00.
At this point in life I find myself with more obligations and commitments then time to see to them. As such I likely won't be organizing anything in the near future. However, I strongly encourage someone to step up to the plate and take a swing at it.
