NightNurse,

Sorry to hear about the back.
It's best to give it some rest.

But if you start feeling better, maybe try something like this.

with a little Advil.

Sending good vibes.

That picture was taken up at the Astoria column in Astoria Oregon. It was from last October.
My friend and I did a 12 day road trip at the beginning of October and rode down the coast as far as San Francisco.....then back up inland to Medford, Crater lake, Bend, the Dalles, Columbia River Gorge, bypassed Portland....
The big blue bag in the pic is called a dry bag. So when it did rain my sleeping bag etc stayed dry.
The milk crate being the open design it is, lets water drain right out. Perfect for motorcycle travelling.

Sorry to hear about your back woes... I was going to see if you were up for a rideout this Sunday, but I'm guessing not yet, huh? Let me know if that changes. I hope you feel better soon.

Cheers,

What?!! Not cool? I think it's the epitome of cool based on resourcefulness alone. It makes you and your bike look like you're up for some serious traveling.

Have you got a diagnosis and x-ray yet to know exactly what is going on in there?

Hopefully you feel improvement daily.

No. I don't have medical insurance, and cant afford to pay out of pocket! Workers comp should cover it - I filled out paperwork 2 days ago and Ive heard nothing. They are still sending me to work, its ridiculous. I could just refuse to go, but then well I would be completly broke, in pain and screwed!

#1 You need to ask a doctor where you work for a doctor note to give to WCB.
#2 Then get cozy with some cute x-ray tech to take a picture.

I'm sort of kidding about # 2, but serious about #1. If this happened at work, then a doctor there should be ale to write a note stating you should not be working until further notice.

No doctor at the place it happened at! I go to school with a little girl, with a lot of medical needs.

How funny, just reminded me of when I broke my finger when I was about 10. My mom was in school to be an x-ray tech, we had no insurance...so she snuck me in and x-rayed it herself LOL!
