It's not a metaphor.
Using "righting" instead of "writing" was a total, obvious mistake. You got called out on it... and instead of being a man and admitting your mistake, you say "I meant to do that." You then go on to lash out and attempt to assert your superiority over the person who called you out.
You are a teenage boy. If you're too immature to admit when you made a simple mistake in word choice, there's no chance you're mature enough to handle a sportbike on the road.
