Almost there....

Here's a photo of Chris rolling the Hurricane out. Just a few details to work out, and she'll be done. That won't change the look, so here's a small sample. I'm sure he'll post in the Honda phot forum when he gets good and ready.

Uhoh, no helmet, no jacket, no shoes... I'm scared. LOL

Actually, it looks amazing, that's incredible work. Hard to believe you got it out of simple spray paint. Take lots of pics, and you should feel really proud of yourself.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Gasp! No turn signals either! Thanks, Sev.

He's still making some changes, and we had a pretty frustrating go-round with the front faring today that will require some more body work and paint. Basically, we had to re-drill the windscreen mounting holes after straightening a support member we didn't know was bent, until we put the two pieces together and on the bike. We just couldn't get things to line up, and finally figured it out to be the right side faring support was sprung (that explains the missing mirror when he bought it.)

Anyway, today we went hardware shopping to replace all the missing stuff from the P.O., and Chris made some great choices to match the color scheme of the bike, and smooth out some of the clunky bolts. Essentially all the plastic mounting hardware matches, now.

Left to do...Turn signals, fork seals, final adjustment of all the reassembled mechanical stuff, and final torquing of bolts, SAFETY CHECKS, etc...
Ride safe...God bless!

Very nice, but man, you really need to teach Chris about wearing the proper gear!

Thanks all! He does. In fact, he just ordered a textile jacket with armour, and is getting a much better ff helmet as soon as the sizing pads come in. He wears full face helmet, leather jacket and chaps on the vulcan, and Harley boots, and armoured gloves. Something tells me he may be ordering boots to wear with this bike, too. I'm not sure what his plans are for pants.

He can tell you guys the total investment in the bike (not counting gear, everybody buys that), and I think you'll be shocked. I am. He definitely did some serious improvement to this bike, and I'm very proud of him. :D :D :D

What a beautiful bike!

Exactly what year, make, and model is that bike? And can you post some before pictures?
