What's the length of your average ride?
How far do you usually go when you ride? Not planned trips but just local scooter poopin'.
I average 100 to 150 miles. Mostly in the country. I rarely venture into the city and when I do, it's usually on a Sunday when the traffic isn't too heavy. When I ride, I like to keep moving.

I'll usually go out for a quick ride (20-50 miles) if I'm by myself. When I'm with a group, we do between 100-200 generally.

20-50 when by myself usually. If I'm riding with Scan and/or Loonette, and it is my turn to head up their way, it is usually over 200. Hell it's 50 miles just to get there from here. Zootech usually makes the trip down this way when we ride together, but his would be even farther. I can do 100-150 by myself when I visit my grandparents in Indiana. It is about 60 miles one way to see them. And I usually get side tracked a bit either on the way out or back.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

I ride year round even in the dead of winter even got caught in the snow once, scary but luckily I only had to go a mile and it wasn't the wet slippery kind it was just the dusting of powder! I do avoid icey conditions as that is dangerous, but luckily I only work about a mile from home and I can leave it at work if it is that bad.
I average about 60 miles on a quick ride to nowhere which is about 3 to 4 times a week if I am lucky. I work 630pm til 630am 3 days a week so my days are always free and my wife works 5 days a week during the day, so I have plenty of "ME" Time
She refuses to get on a bike! She dosen't know what she is missing!

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car!

MILES?? My average ride is about five hours, and varies from 5(sometimes I make a lot of stops) to 300 miles. however if I plan ahead (non pleasure trips)it will take me several days to prep, but if i decide to go on the spur of the moment prep is cut down to about 10 min.Go figure.
