Stupid mistake--Put bike in Neutral before starting

#1 Unread post by Rainman »

Here is something to think about. Regardless of pulling the clutch in, put the bike in neutral if it has been sitting for a while before starting.

I pulled the clutch on my little ninja 250 (been riding my 06 C50T), hit the start button, and jumped about 2 feet forward.

So now I will always put my bike in neutral before starting after it has been sitting for a few days (or for the ninja a few weeks).

It's not supposed to do that. You have a bad safety switch.

Even in Nuetral I hold the clutch and brake for starting, for exactly the reason you experienced.

No idea what Fine etc etc is.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Does "Hai, so desu" mean that is correct in Japanese? At least something to that effect?

the word thingy could also be called an acronym. :P
