Awesome

I dont mind the disecting of what you are doing. I really enjoy it. It gives real insight into all your accomplishments. O.K. gonna stop before it gets gruesomly mushy.

I wanted to hear some enjoyment of the Joy of riding aspect to see if you "get it", ya know? I think you get it.

So, after you got done with the ride, how big was your grin??

Yea, hehe. You would be seriously astounded at how long you could hold that thing right on the limiter.

Help me out here for a second. I'm in the middle of an 88 VTR 250 project and I'm fitting an 87 CBR600 front end onto it. The 16" wheel and single inboard disk on the VTR were not cutting the mustard.

SO...what diameter is the front wheel on yours? Does it have single disk? I'd assume they've done away with that stupid inboard brake, yours is way newer then mine I think.

Just curious, haha.

No no, I'm all set. I'm using the forks, trees, wheel, brakes, etc off of a CBR600 on the VTR. This gets me 17" wheel, dual front disk, larger diameter forks, and they're more stiffly sprung and damped. The swap is not bolt up but it is reasonably simple.

I was just curious to see how the VTR250 had changed. They were only sold over here with the inboard disk/16 inch front end and only for 2 or 3 years I believe.
