Every time I begin a ride, I am glad to be alive
Every time I finish a ride, I am glad to be alive
When the devil came, he was not red,
he was chrome and he said "come with me"

I drive the smallest frame and smallest cc bike in my group. One of the "harley guys" said this one to me the other day when I had to choke my bike for a cold start, "Thought we were going to have to pick 'er up and spank 'er for ya to get 'er going."

The Goldwing riders like to say, "That's ok. The wings will bring up the rear again with our buckets to pick up all the harley parts that fall off during the ride."

Another favorite: "A good ride is one from which you can walk away. A great ride is one after which you can use the bike again."

I like this saying so much, I use it as my sig (attributed to David Hough I think) . . .
"If you ride like there's no tomorrow, there won't be."

Here's an East European one:

"He didn't see me!"

And it alternates with:

"The @*&$^@&($ didn't see me!"

(Tell me when your head is filled over the limit with "Romania" and "Eastern Europe" :P)
