Thought I'd throw that out there...
If I were the cop, I'd write all 4 as they are all benefiting from the 'free' space. But then again, I can be a spiteful jerk :banging:

You can always move to Toronto.
On street parking for motorcycles is free!
Scooters can park on the sidewalk.
I always follow the rules.
The only exception to the rule occurs when I make an exception to the rule not to make an exception to the rule and that only occurs under exceptional circumstances.

I believe Pennsylvania allows two bikes to a metered spot.

Permit me to share a story with you. It used to be one motorcycle per space, which is ridculous.....
So, since the lobbying to get it changed did not work, the organization here that promotes biking and helps bikers, organized a "ride" to the capitol during tourist season and while the house was sitting...

Hundreds of bikers rode to downtown in the morning before very many people were up and about. They parked one motorcycle per space to make a point. Nobody else could find a parking space anywhere because of all the bikes.
The next day the law was changed.

I'll have to check to see how many per space are allowed now.

Here's a funny story. I rode to a friend's apartment, parked parallel-ish (sort of angled, so not taking up an entire length spot), and went inside. I come outside an hour or so later, and I can't find my bike. WTF.

I'm walking walking walking, and I'm in the area where I left it, and I can't find it. Then I see a glint of chrome. Someone picked up my bike, lifted it over the curb, and put it between the sidewalk and the curb, leaning against a streetlight, and parked their car where I was. Oh man was I furious. Who does that? Beyond that, HOW did they do it? There were no curb cuts in the area, and the bike weighs nearly 400 lbs!

Probably more than one person. They had nerve, that's for sure.

That's a call for some poop on their hood if I ever heard of one.

At my apartment complex we have covered parking sections and non-covered sections. Each apartment gets one covered spot, and management is very adamant about that.

Before I got a bike, I called my landlord and asked if they'd have any issues. They said nope, not at all, just as long as I keep abiding to the one covered space per apartment rule.

So I put my bike in a covered space and moved my car to an uncovered one. I recognized a lot of unused space in my covered spot, so I invited my friend to also park his bike here. We now park three bikes in that spot, and I'm pretty sure my neighbors think I'm nuts :)

My friend wants to get a couple of those mini bikes, and if we do we're going to park them in the space too :)

Ok, I'm probably overly sensitive and now eternally bitter about this but......

I used to park perpendicular to the curb,
right in front of the meter in order to be nice and leave room for a car to share my space.
That was untill my first bike was run over by doing this.

I now park parallel to the curb and take up the whole space, just like a car.
I leave lots of room in front of and behind my bike.

I would rather pay a ticket than find another bike and helmet smashed up.

I am so paranoid about this. I pick out my parking place like a girl picks out shoes to go with her outfit.

If there are other bikes parked I usually try to park with them, I figure more visible in numbers.
