
Had my first minor wreck today

Because the natural motion when stopping is to lean the bike ever so slightly to the left to put the left foot down while the right foot is on the brake.IcyHound wrote:Eeek

But I don't use the rear brake, espcally if I am making a turn. But that might be him. For me I was making a left turn so it makes sense that everything happened to the left. lol..if it makes you feel better, I laid my sportster down yesterday by accident just sitting on it in the driveway...leaned it a little too much to the right as I was pulling in to park...fortunately for me though, the foot pegs were down and i was able to pull it back up before it really hit the ground and scratched up my nice chrome pipes...i didn't realize how heavy the bike was till yesterday...
