I got short hair haha. LOL. But I love it cause everyone tells me that its the same after I ride. Straight in the front and kind of spiked in the back. Like...ummmm, an older Holly Barry Du.
You bought the bike...now get on it and ride BIOTCH!

I gotta say the attire is a great perk to riding, at least for me. :D :D

I wear a pink helmet, a black/pink leather jacket when it's warm, or a black jacket with a hot pink conspicuosity vest. The vest is required to access the military base I work at. I'm treated a little like a two-headed goat at work, there are only a few female cycle commuters, so some people don't quite know how to relate to us-but others think it's cool. I'm proud to say I see more women riding than when I first started.

I'm coming into this late...but I kind of prefer that I do look like of androgynous when I'm on the bike, especially when I'm riding alone. I avoid the creeps that like to pick on women, and it's kind of fun to see the jaw drop when this middle aged fat chick takes off the helmet...More than once I've gotten "I didn't expect that! And on a sports bike!"

I've heard male bikers say they usually know when it's a female, by her posture and body movements. They say women tend to sit up more and men tend to more slouchy. I can usually tell if its a female too, I guess it is the way the body sits and moves.
