newbie from k.c.
hello from kansas city. just came across the forum and it looks pretty neat. i'm 62 and ride a honda aero 1100. have a brother who's 70 and he rides a suzi volusia.
we live about 150 miles apart, but hook up for many rides and always travel to sturgis together.
always good to find another informative motorcycle forum. later, bud

Re: bike pic
Wellll, you go to google and type in photobucket or picsplace or imageshack or some other "web based photo album or uploading or sharing place......(I have photobucket)hfbred wrote:i'd love to post a pic of my bike....unfortunetly i'm sort of computer challenged. how do i post pics here? thanks, bud
They are free unless you want to upgrade.
Register, follow the instructions to Upload a picture from your computer, then copy the image code and then paste it into the post you make.
For example.....here is a picture that went from my digital camera to my computer to photobucket and then to here.

The above url is what this particular picture looks like...except that I have added a space beofre the http and after the jpg just so you could see what I am referring to. What you see is the url which creates a link. You can click on that link and it will take you to the same picture as below.I am not in that pic..but that is my blue bike in the foreground waiting at a ferry terminal.

hey, it worked
who says you can't teach an old fart new tricks. thanks for the info. this is the way i bought the aero. love this sole look, but needed some bags, so i went with the leatherlykes. i had them on another bike and like them and they are easy to remove if i want to go back to the solo look. have also added many more accessories.
