#1 Unread post by Dirtytoes »

i'm trying to install new signals...i don't have a turn signal relay.

when i connect them and for example turn the right signal on, it just stays on...it doesn't blink/flash

is that wat the relay does? if not, wat is it?

...and how do i fix this problem?

There is a link to a turn signal relay. Basically what it does is when you apply 12 volts to the relay it outputs an on, then off, then on causing the turn signal lamp to flash.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

and you don't fix the relays, you just replace them.

When the blinkers stop working you check the bulbs, the switch, the wiring, and then the relay. And what can make a relay stop working, well there is an opening in it's coil which could be caused by manufacturing defect, age, excessive vibration, repeated impacts
