Wow, fire restrictions up down in Canon already? That sucks! Here in the Springs we're still in the clear... Same goes with Denver and Woodland Park, we've had more rain this year than the last three combined!

Fire restrictions I'm talking about are San Isabel NF. Goes in Monday after Father's Day every year wet or dry.

Burgers. Love the burgers. Need good buns though. None of the cheapo ones. They need to be bakery quality.

but not so much bun that it dwarfs the burger. i hate that.

btw i voted cheeseburger, with a big fat onion under the melted cheese.

We also cook cut up potatos, and grill corn almost as much as burgers.

I just bought a gas grill a few weeks ago which is great for when you're in a hurry, but the food will never taste as good as it does off the old char coal grill. Ahh, I love summer time!

And steak is there, what is hamburger? Is it chopped ham? No it's chopped steak. Gawd, I hope someone besides me remembers those commercials.
Whoa man! You're going about it all wrong. 1) there are plemty of cuts of beef that you can bbq without taking out a small personal loan. The heck? People think "steaks" are only the expensive kind? If you can make a cheap cut of meat taste good and tender, then you know how to bbq.

And 2) when you grill and have a party, everything is a BYO-anything! That's how we do parties here. Bring what you wanna grill and a side dish for the gang. And let me tell you, there plenty of everything to go around, drink and food :drool2:

True dat. I'm just kind of a steak snob. I like the t-bone's and porterhouse's.

I've never done the BYO-meat before, just beer or preferred beverage. We always supply the meat when having a bbq. I may have to start doing the BYOM. :humm:
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

word of advice on the BYOM though, from personal experience, everyone brings more bread than meat... So be prepared to find someplace to stash the mountain of bread that gets left behind... I swear the last one, you could have build the kids an igloo out of baps
