Suggestion 1: MSF course. Best weekend you'll ever spend. You'll meet a lot of fellow riders, learn the basics and best of all, take your license test in a (relatively) non-threatening environment.

Suggestion 2: Enjoy! Pretty much every time I throw my leg over the seat, I can't believe my luck. It's the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

i saw one..its nice..but too pricey for now.... a blast should get me a year or two of riding before i upgrade to my dream bike k 1200 R so ya... your very helpful..thanks rain.... i plan on going to Texas on the bike i get.. i live in south eastern Michigan ..one hell of a ride.. especially for a new guy...but hey...life is for living
