Happiness is...

- "Sleeping in" until 6:30.
- Spending ALL day (7am til 8pm) tinkering with the bike
- Sleepin in on Sunday (9:30! Wowsa)
- Trying to finish up the bike and realizing that I "have" to go shopping at some of my favorite stores: Ace Hardware, AutoZone, MetroMotorsports, RideNow and CycleGear.
- Spending a couple hours on the way home watching the folks taking the MSF course on their second riding day
- Having the whole afternoon to finish up the bike...

:woohoo:

Anyone else having a great weekend?

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one with that Joe Rocket jacket. Damn thing makes me look like a power ranger or some super trooper.

1.) the warmth of my exhaust on my legs on a cold and foggy morning.
2.) living in a big house and having a garage (which I miss dearly)
3.) doing nothing for the entire summer! no job, no summer shcool, nothing!

Lets see....
Saturday was a fairly lazy day, just bike shopping.
Sunday went to the Moto GP to get rained on, but a cracking day still
Monday had the day off work, so sorted out my finances
Tuesday sneaked away from the office when no one was looking, and bought a new (to me) bike

I think that qualifies as a good weekend

Happiness is....

Sitting on a new bike that I bought outright, paid insurance outright, in my "own" garage.

Also knowing that I won't spend the next 6 months trying to get the bike road-ready, it's mechanically sound.

Now, just to wait on the license plate.

...being naked more often than not.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?
