Had a Pheasant once trying to cross the road in our path, I waved my arm and it ran back into the hedge just in time!
I'm not riding fast...........Just flying low!

My friend hit a small bird doing like 80.... it hit his right radiator and turned in to hamburger..... no harm done to the bike, just freaked him out.

I have hit numerous squirrells, when flat tracking it on dirt roads.... and at the speeds im going, the front and back end are sliding around all over the place anyway, so something like a squirrel doesnt make much of an inpact.

A local rider had a bad day a few weeks ago... Came down too hard from a wheelie and snapped his main fairing mount, then on the way home a bird dive bombed into his helmet at triple digit speeds. Poor guy said his head hurt for three days after that!

Last friday I rode home some 400 miles and hit maybe 15 gophers. The first 2 were by accident, the rest, I was hunting.

....Oh yeah....I clipped a Wallaby  (small kangaroo) once in Tasmania on my Softail, he shot out of the bracken & ferns an stuff (Dirt Rd) & went for me but I managed to deflect it with my Leg/Boot which stopped it goin under my bike.

Looking in the mirror revealed him rolling along the track behind me  ....I reckon he was OK.

My leg hurt for about 15 mins! Ouch!

YA NOT Wrong!

Looks like the rider may have hit the brakes too hard, I can't imagine that an animal that small could flip a heavy bike like that!??
