All I can say is, you'd better not run it until the battery (fuel cell) dies. No retractable wheel, no sensors, no gyros...are the brakes electric, too? I hope I make it to 2025 to see if it makes it.
Ride safe...God bless!

is this an attempt to make unicycles cool? IT looks neat cause its alll furistic and stuff. But like Buzz said...its gonna need whellie bars an brake bars to be able to stop and go with any real speed.
Actually now that I think of it what kinda contact patch willl that produce?. IF you lock up that one wheel there's pretty much no hope for recovery. With no feel to the gas or brakes it seems like this is a side walk cruiser only.

if it works on the same system as those freaky space things you see cops in airports and weird movie stars on...which im pretty sure it does...the stop and start with ease...i got to ride one at a a trade show...it will do 30mph and stop on a dime. and the mechanism they use in them does not allow it to tip over.
thats a sweet bike.

Maybe it needs an airbag to prevent a face plant during panic stops? The article wrote:It weighs only 360 pounds. Although Bombardier says the gyroscopes are enough to balance the Embrio, the vehicle is also kept longitudinally stable by a smaller wheel that operates like an airplane's landing gear. It touches the ground when the vehicle is stopped or just starting. Once the Embrio is in motion, the landing gear will retract when the vehicle reaches about 12 mph. During braking, the gear redeploys when the vehicle slows to 12 mph.

so i m facing the luggage claim watching for his bag and i here a loud whirring behind me...at first i thought it was an ac unit or something turning on then it kept gettting louder...so i turned around just quick enough to see a cop flying by on a segway...he must have been doing at least 20mph...and no flashing siren either...
thats a sweet bike.
