So just to add my numbers in I have had my bike for five weeks and two days and I have put almost 6,000 miles on it! I love my bike and want to go everywhere on it.

Well, my 5000km turned out to be a measly 4300km in the past 7 days. Much of it though was in search of the 25mph corners and only about 300 km of it was interstate ( I tried to, but couldn't avoid it). I could have put many more miles on if I had cruised the interstate but I would have had less than 1/10th of the fun. But for now, my butt hurts
err I've kinda lost count now... I put 2000miles on a 125cc in the first month if that gives a decent example
The guys who sell at 300-600km sound very much like they reached the end of breaking in the engine, opened the bike right up, and scared themselves shitless.
