New ride
Well, it has been a long 8 days since I did the deal. Yesterday was pick up time. As promised my new 2006 ST1300 was ready to go when I arrived for pick up. Just a matter of signing a couple more papers. Transfer the plate from the old ride to the new ride. Then I was off for a wonderful day of riding. Some 660 KM by the time I got it into the garage for the night.
Looking forward to many more wonderful kilometers on it.
Here are a few photo's I took yesterday. Enjoy!

Nice bike. What prompted the trade? How does the ST compare to the 1800?

Long story short. My wife is taking a break from riding and being a passenger. She is now searching for a convertible. Anyhow, I never really liked the Wing, for one up riding. I like the bike, just not for one up. Therefore, when my wife told me the news about leaving the sport. This gave me the opportunity to seek out the ST, which I have always admired. Thus, I done the deal.High_Side wrote:Nice bike. What prompted the trade? How does the ST compare to the 1800?

It is the Police edition.Gummiente wrote:Congrats! Nice bike... looks suspiciously like a Police edition.
I wish I was available. Have some family things that need attending too.You coming to Indian Days this Saturday? You'll need to get the Grady trailer painted first, 'cause it'll look a bit odd to see a snowball towing a sunflower.
