The 30GB iPod was the same price as the Creative knockoff, is much smaller, and has a far superior user interface.
For the Nano? Creative didn't even offer anything remotely close at the time I bought it.
"It's smaller, so it's better."
Besides, the iPod with iTunes, as stock, work with MP3s right out the box. There's no DRM. Even if you rip music to AAC with iTunes, there is no DRM in "Apple's CODEC system." It's not even Apple's CODEC. It's not proprietary unless you're talking about FairPlay DRM which comes on tracks bought from iTunes. It's an industry standard CODEC that works with hundreds of various programs and portable music players.
The 30GB has better battery life than the Creative.
The 5th gen iPods also have audio quality at least as good as the Creative versions.
Your BS is very tiring. You should at least find out what you're talking about before you start up.
