The jets are the correct size. I also checked the needles and they are the correct part # and are not adjustable.
The choke is opening and closing all the way.
No vacuum leaks.
The idle air screw is set at 1 and 1/2 turns, according to the manual.
I was going to pickup some smaller main jets to see if it would improve any, but the shops are now closed for the weekend.

Is the bike real loud, like the mufflers were blown out? Are there any leaks in the exhaust.
BTW float level is checked with a special gauge Part # 57001-1017. The correct level is 3mm to 5mm (.12in to .20in) below the bottom edge of the carburetor body.

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

I think I finally found the problem. I hadn't thought of checking the cylinder head for vacuum leaks before. Found at least 3 spots that carb cleaner got through. I'll order a new gasket on monday. Hopefully it'll arrive before the end of the week.
I'll post an when the gasket is installed and let everyone know if this finally solves the problem.
Thanks to everyone, without your help this would have ended up at the shop before I even got the guts to pull and clean the carb.
