Gosh i just spent Friday through Saturaday in the Hospital with my wife after she had Surgery on Friday morning.

The nurses were great, i spent two nights sleeping in a chair. Nows she home and feeling a little better.

Now there's a decent husband who stays by his wife's side. Kudos to you.

Wow! Great husband :). How is she feeling?

Blues, how are you recovering?

I had my follow up today with the doctor. She basically said "Time to look for a new line of work". Well gee thanks, how the hell do I pay the bills in the mean time! I have an interview tomorrow for an admin job for an accounting firm. Huge pay cut, but way less physical and better hours. So that is okay with me!

Nightnurse, the recovery is slow...but it is coming along. My energy is coming back and I'm not so short of breath. I still hurt, but it is more achy now than stabbing.

My bike is home....I asked a friend to ride it home for me. He was happy to do it. I'm not strong enough (nor do I consider myself safe yet) to ride it myself.
Maybe next week I will give it a try.

This morning i left the houst at 4.30am drove to the Y on the lake. Worked out then left for work, my bike was parked right in front of the lake and it sure looked good!

Was a good morning.

Hellooooooo. Been awhile since I posted here! Well I am still riding a few times a week :0). My back is OKAY, not fabulous...but Im learning to live with it.

I found a job I like outside of nursing! Yay! I am working for a mortgage company. Making decent money, not lifting patients, awesome hours (no weekends), and I like the people I work with.

I missed this place, and will post more often :D.

Nope....I'm still languishing at home and unable to ride.

I think my doctor has finally realized this needs to be looked at more closely. I'm being sent for an ultrasound.

In the meantime, I can enjoy the nice weather for my little walks. I watch a lot of movies, read, play on the computer a bit, visit....
