Okkay, I've just bought myself a Yamaha XV, and realized it has a restriction to it's number of revolutions, and as the motor stops at between the ¤th and 5th gear, it's really affecting the speed on bigger roads... So now I'm about to ask you; How Will I Change the Max number of revolutions?!

I am going to say that I'm understanding that you want to change the RPM for better/different cruising speeds. If so, you'll want to change the front or rear sprocket.

First you need to know how many teeth each has currently. What are you trying to accomplish? Better acceleration or better top end speed?

Well, the thing is that it has an electronic "stopper", that will restrict the number of revolutions in the ENGINE... So it's some electronic device made for keeping down the number of revolutions...

You mean a rev limiter?

Those are usually designed to prevent you from over-revving the engine and causing a valve to float, then slam into a piston thereby destroying your engine.

No one here, can or will tell you how to bypass a safety feature like that.

The thing is, its not there for SAFETY, it's just to pull down the speed, as I can impossibly see the point in making a MC with 5 gears if you only can use 4 of em cause of the Rev Limiter...

I think he's talking about a restrictor of some kind. I guess there are some bikes that either have restrictor plates limiting HP output or a restriction on how high you can rev in certain gears. The purpose is to limit the speed or acceleration of a vehicle. I guess the idea is that some places have restrictions on licensing (to HP or top speed or something) and manufacturers regularly modify larger bikes to fit within certain licensing categories.
