Maybe his Dad got a lawyer to help fight the tickets, and said lawyer told him it wasn't smart to be posting a certain "version" of the story all over the public internet?

Ah, good point.

I'm glad all of the important points of his now-deleted posts are still there, though.

In any case, I still think the whole story was totally made up.

I think this post should be stickied so new members like myself can see how not to behave on teh intarweb. Surprised how easy it is to change your name, doesn't that lead to trade issues?
