Maybe his Dad got a lawyer to help fight the tickets, and said lawyer told him it wasn't smart to be posting a certain "version" of the story all over the public internet?

Ah, good point.

I'm glad all of the important points of his now-deleted posts are still there, though.

In any case, I still think the whole story was totally made up.
